Sofía is a 14-year-old girl, who in 2021 was diagnosed and operated on for a brain tumor (craniopharyngioma) which brought with it multiple diseases, adrenal deficiency, diabetes insipidus, growth hormone deficiency, in turn having lost in 30% of the visual field.

The doctors in December 2021 told us that there were calcifications of the tumor attached to the optic nerve and if the tumor grows more than normal it could completely damage sight, in addition to other detrimental consequences for Sofía's health.

 

In February 2023, Sofia again had to undergo emergency surgery for a bilateral hip epiphysiolysis, which caused severe pain in her hip and prevented her from moving normally. Today he is undergoing rehabilitation to recover his gait and walk again.
